Container Candle Collections All Container Candles are made from Soy Wax. Soy Wax is manufactured from soybeans, a renewable, sustainable, and biodegradable water-soluble source. Soy candles do not relaese the toxins that paraffin candles emitt. Paraffin wax is a pretroleum product, made from by-products from refinning oil. The soot from paraffin wax can contain carcinogens, neurotoxins, and reproductive toxins. Testing and air chamber analysis by the Enviornmential Protection Agency (EPA) has found chemicals that can pose a health hazard wih continuous exposure to these materails over time. Soy candles effectively eliminate this problem because the wax is not derived from petroleum based products, there are no toxins or carcinogens, there is very little or no soot if the wick is trimmed and maintaained properly. All of our oy candles are biodegradable, enviornmetally friendly, and burn 50% longer tha paraffin wax.
